Governor Desantis stated in Panama City Fla back in March that if a bill on Constitutional arry is presented, “Put it on my desk; I’ll sign it.”
Well now that Florida has called a special session in regards to redistricting, the legeslators have a chance to do what Florida Governor Ron Desantis wants done.
PUT THE BILL ON HIS DESK
Rally will be held April 20th in Tallahassee, starting at noon.
Here is what Luis Valdes, Florida Director of Gun Owners of America, has to say about the rally:
Constitutional Carry has been introduced three years in a row and the Republican Legislative Leadership has blocked it.
On March 29, Governor DeSantis openly stated that he would have liked it to have been passed and sent to his desk.
As you’re aware, he called for a Special Session for redistricting but has stated he would like the legislature to tackle Constitutional Carry also.
The purpose of the rally is to show public support for Constitutional Carry and for the Governor.
25 states now have Constitutional Carry, with Alabama and Georgia being the latest. So, for Florida to claim to be the freest state and not have Constitutional Carry or even Open Carry, it is an issue.
